Energy optimization means lower temperatures and less adhesive
A significant part of sustainability in industry lies within the production process itself. By optimizing the adhesive's properties, we can reduce the application amount and work at lower process temperatures. This results in lower energy consumption, less adhesive usage, and reduced waste. Even small adjustments in volume and temperature can have a noticeable effect on total resource consumption over time.
However, in our view, sustainability is also a matter of resources. Resources are lost through production errors, scrap, and unnecessary rework. We work to contribute to robust processes where production runs stably and consistently. Shorter production runs, fewer errors, and less rejection reduce both waste and environmental impact.
Our consultants help, among other things, by ensuring the adhesive is placed correctly in the process and that bonding only occurs where necessary.
The formulation of the adhesive, including viscosity and curing time, must match the application so that the connection between product and process supports efficient operation.
