Vapour Foil Adhesive 298

Folieklæber 298 is a water-based dispersion adhesive, specially developed for gluing and sealing joints between building components and vapor barrier foils.

The adhesive is tested according to EN 1026 (airtight up to 600 Pa) after wind load according to EN 12211 (changing draft and pressure of 1000 Pa, as well as stepwise pressure up to 2000 Pa), and is included as part of the overall construction to ensure the building's airtightness , and thus the energy requirements in the building regulations.

The foil adhesive ensures fast and tight gluing of foil and building materials such as stone, wood, plaster, concrete.

Foil adhesive 298 is easy to apply, odorless and contains neither organic solvents, isocyanates nor silicone. The glue must not be used for moisture protection in wet areas, on marble/natural stone, on bitumen-containing materials and in joints with constant moisture exposure (e.g. underground, foundations etc.).

The product is a declared item in the Supply Chain Declaration Portal (SCDP) for New Buildings generation 3 & 4
