Backer Rod 980

Backer Rod 980 is used as a substrate when grouting with elastic sealants, to ensure correct dimensioning and that the sealant does not adhere to the bottom of the joint. This results in improved movement properties and longer durability of the joint.

Backer Rod 980 consists of round profiles with closed cells, and can thus be used for both external and internal joints.

Backer Rod 980 is supplied in diameters from 6 mm - 50 mm.

The product is a declared item in the Supply Chain Declaration Portal (SCDP) for New Buildings generation 3 & 4.
