Backer Rod 983

Backer Rod 983 is used as a substrate when grouting with plastic sealants, to ensure correct dimensioning. This results in improved movement properties and longer durability of the joint.

Backer Rod 983 consists of square profiles with open cells, and is only recommended for internal jointing tasks.

Backer Rod 983 is supplied in dimensions from 20 mm - 40 mm.

The product is a declared item in the Supply Chain Declaration Portal (SCDP) for New Buildings generation 3 & 4.
