Room for Both Growth and Community: Dana Lim Expands Its Headquarters

After several years of growth, it is not only production that has expanded at Dana Lim. The number of employees has also increased, and the space in the existing facilities has been stretched to its limit. The company has now taken action by expanding its site in Køge.
Dana Lim has taken an important step in its development with the inauguration of new facilities at the existing location in Køge. The expansion provides significantly improved conditions for everyday work, collaboration, and continued growth.
The new buildings include approximately 350 square meters of office space and a 700-square-meter cafeteria, with room to gather all 220 employees at once.
"We have long wanted to create shared spaces where the entire company can come together. It strengthens collaboration and fosters a better everyday culture," says CEO Lars Christensen.
Improved Conditions for Production
The expansion has also improved conditions for production staff with modernized changing and shower facilities. In addition, parking has been upgraded with a new system to make daily logistics easier for everyone.
"The new facilities are more than just additional square meters, they are an investment in creating a good working environment, where all employees have the best foundation to thrive and perform at their best," Lars Christensen adds.
The expansion is part of a broader strategy to ensure that Dana Lim can continue to grow and attract new talent.
"We compete with global players, but we have the advantage of developing solutions close to the market and adapting to local needs. This gives us a strong foundation to capture more market share and for that, we need the best working environment for our employees," emphasizes Lars Christensen.
A Workplace People Choose to Stay In
Employee loyalty is an important part of Dana Lim's company culture. Many employees have been with the company for more than ten years, and several have celebrated 25-, 30- and even 40-year anniversaries.
"We hope the new facilities will help maintain that tradition. We want to be a workplace where you can grow professionally and also want to stay for many years. The new headquarters provides a solid foundation for building that future," concludes Lars Christensen.
Dana Lim was founded in 1929 as Dansk Limfabrik and will soon celebrate its 100th anniversary. Today, the company is the Nordic region's leading manufacturer of adhesives, sealants and fillers and has maintained its base in Køge throughout its history.
